    Q: Is this FSA eligible?

    A: I have no idea.
By Jonidale on June 6, 2018

This is probably not eligible, however it will change your life and worth the cost. If it keeps you from taking 1 pain med its paid for itself...

Q: What does this feel like when using?

A: No discomfort noted--a very light spot of warmth on area (my knees) after txment. Have been a patient at a professional office for several years--decided to tx on my own--retired nurse. Office txments were once a month--now I can use at will. Have had no pain or swelling, just wanted to continue therapy.
    By J. B. R. on April 28, 2018

There's a slight warmth after several minutes where it is in contact with the skin, it's less than a heating pad on its lowest setting. This is quite normal for a class 3B laser. If you are referring to "feel" as in feeling the pain lessen during treatment, that is an individual thing and depends on the person the pain and the area to be treated…
    By B.G. on April 28, 2018

    You don't feel anything.
By Andrea L. Ponzetto on April 28, 2018

It does have some very mild heat that can be felt. Otherwise, it has not other noticeable feeling except a massage due to the need to move the device as prescribed on a consistent basis.

Q: How deep does it go (808 nm?) also what is the wattage on it (is it 500 mw or more) is it a class IV laser?

    A: At 808nm the wattage is 150mW +/- 20%
    By Edward L. on June 6, 2018

Manufacturer claims it penetrates 3-4 inches on high setting. I don't know about the wattage or the laser classification.
    By T.W. on June 6, 2018

For depth is depends on the area to be treated, as a guide approx 3.5 to 4 inches on full - 3 bars. It is a class 3B laser, the total power is 510mW
    By B.G. on June 6, 2018

Q: How many 808 lasers does this unit have?

A: It has three 808nm lasers and twelve 650nm lasers.

Q: Would this be considered a class 3A or a class 3B (or some other class?) laser?

A: Not sure, need to ask manufacturer
    By M. G. on January 13, 2018

According to the pamphlet enclosed it is a class 3B laser and these are the specs if anyone is wondering. These are the specs from the manufacturer:
    Laser wavelengths - 808nm and 650nm. Terminal laser output - 3 laser beams with 808nm, 12 laser beams with 650nm. Total power - 510mW

Q: What is the model number?

A: The Model number is: 20161216/JG019620
    By B.G. on November 18, 2017

    Q: Class 3b or 4?

A: It is a Class 3B Laser. Class 4 lasers have a penetration of 970nm to 980nm. Humans and animals consist of water and water absorbs more at 970nm-980nm than at 810nm the Class 3B laser. The Class 4 laser gets very hot if held in one place, so it needs to be moved around and held away from the skin. Lack of contact means that much of the light reflects off the skins surface and not as much energy is delivered to the tissue. Class 3B is the best for the treatment of humans and animals.

    Q: How many lasers?

A: It has three 808nm lasers and twelve 650nm lasers.
By no name on June 9, 2018

According to the brief manual, there are 15 laser diodes - 3 diodes produce 808nm laser & 12 diodes produce 650nm lasers

Q: Is the adjustable power output levels something like 25%,50%,75%,100% ? what is the range of pulse rates? (something like 5hz / 10hz / 15hz / 20hz?)

A: The laser has 3 intensity settings (Low, Medium and High) and operates three 808nm and twelve 650nm diodes concurrently. The maximum output power of the 808nm diodes is 150mW and 5mW for the 650 Diodes. The treatment mode can be Pulse or Continuous. Pulse rates are about 1/second. The treatment time can be set.

    A: Laser Wavelength - 650nm +/-20nm & 808nm +/- 20nm
Number of Laser Diodes - Three 808nm laser diodes, twelve 650nm laser diodes. Maximum output power per 808nm laser diode - 150mW +/-20%

Q: Does this have laser and infrared options?

A: The responses to the treatment vary. Most of our patients really like the treatment and we have seen good results. Hope this answers your questions.
    By Randy V. on March 27, 2018

This is not an infra-red device.  It is Lasers and it operates on 650 and 808 nanometer laser light. Proven to be the most effective.
    By Seller March 27, 2018

Q: How do you administer laser treatment? Do you leave it in one spot or continuously moving the gadget in circular motion?

A: Usually I leave it in one spot but you can move it all around an area to be treated. I believe in order for it to be effective you need to keep it in one spot for at least 15 minutes.  This has helped me eliminate some pain. Treatments need at least 10 times before you truly begin to get full relief.
    By John J. D.on July 4, 2018

Q: Does this laser have both constant and pulsing options?

    A: Yes it does.

Q: I received this device may 31 and I have been using for 16days. This is cold laser why this device gets hot? I don’t know this is working right.

A: The device will generate some heat as it keeps on working. The actual laser part does not generate any heat except increases the blood flow to the area treated which then will create body heat. How low do you apply it in the area you are treating and at what power?
    By Ethelle L. on June 18, 2018

Q: Can this be used on your face for fine lines, especially around the mouth area and/or for mild age spots on face and hands?

A: I bought it for hip and knee pain on my chiropractor’s recommendation. When it arrived, I was fighting stress/hormonal breakouts around my mouth and chin, so decided to try it on my face. I’m 63 and have good skin, but a few wrinkles and spots around my mouth. I hadn’t thought about anything beyond healing the break…  By Linda K on July 3, 2018

Q: Does this work on scar tissue/adhesions?

A: For scar tissue adhesions it depends on the depth to be treated.  The cold laser set to 3 bars will give approx 3 to 4 inches penetration, again depending on the treatment area. 30 minutes continued treatment 2 times a day for several days on pulse mode may be needed.
By Seller on May 30, 2018

Q: Are the free goggles appropriate for Class 3B laser with 808nm power?

A:Yes, they are provided by the manufacturer specifically for this Class 3B Laser.
